Any interest in a spring meetup?

Any interest in a meet up in the Mid Atlantic area? Maybe at a big event, tractor pull, race, tractor show, rural heritage type fair or some such location. Probably the lowest stress way to go, no one has to "host". :hello:

Well I sold my place in Troutville just outside Roanoke, but I still have family up that way I could visit.

I'm just tossing the seed of an idea out for discussion. Where and when depends on many factors. Like who is interested in a meetup and what is the center of gravity of those locations. Or a meet up at an event. What interesting to us events are going on in spring?

They hold their Farm Heritage Days around the 3rd weekend in April (date not set yet). They have a big steam engine driving a sash mill among other things. Roy Underhill featured it on his show The Wood wrights Shop couple three years ago.

In another thread there is chat about the Carlisle PA swap meets and shows. But that may be to fer north for a mid Atlantic meetup. Being its north of the Mason Dixon line and such. :hihi:
Carlisle Truck Nationals Aug 2-Aug 4 is the truck one but is really to late for a spring meetup.

Maybe one meetup to the north and then someone down in the deep south SC GA ? could suggest a like event to meet up at. Make it a spring / fall northish/southish thing to make it easier for guys to get to at least one.
