Posting this for a friend.

A buddy has a 2005 Duramax. It has a coolant leak. It is coming from the front of the motor some place. The motor has about 150,000 miles. This motor is all stock with no after market items except larger tires.

Do these motors have any particular place they would leak from?

Thanks!

also the aluminum heater hose pipes that come to the front of the truck from the back of the engine bay have been known to leak where the tabs are welded to them to mount to the engine...
