Alx 90 gal tank

I run a 6 mic filter on feed to main tank all fuel is run through Alx tank. Fuel is gravity fed to main tank would a 2 mic filter be too fine trying to not replace GM filter as often. 2007 LMM

Why?

Are you having filter problems?

A small micron filter feeding into a similar micron size or larger micron OEM filter basically defeats the purpose of the OEM filter and only adds more restriction to the fuel system and can cause more harm than good if the pre filter fails due to plugging.
