Allison torque converters and 4 L 80 e torque converters

I'm very curious to find out if the Allison torque converter is the same as a 4 L 80 e torque converter meaning the drive and the interior spline count and will they work interchangeably between each other I just noticed that the drive flange for the 4 L 80 e and the Allison look very similar but I'm not sure of the internals thank you very much
 
If you're talking about the at545 allison, then yes, it's the same, if you're talking about the allison 1000, then no, they are not the same. The allison 1000 converter can be built to workn in a 4l80e, but they are not directly interchangeable.
