I got a lead on a k47 air box, but I was wondering, would an air box from a 99-2006 work? Better? Worse? If the price was right?

The K47 is from a 97-2000 truck, and it will work way better than the rectangular one from your truck.

How about the square new style K47? My work truck is a 2003 GMC but it looks identical to a dmax box.

The one that uses the largest cylindrical/conical filter the better and of course fits up to the fender the same.

Thanks! That's the answer I was looking for. I seen the other one, didn't know how hard it would be to mod it to fit. Price is right though on both, so what the heck, might as well ask.
