Found this video on the ABS and it is excellent:

My ‘99 K2500 failed on the first ohm meter test with a reading of 0.0, which points to a bad pump (windings or brushes creating an open circuit). The pump is mounted to the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) which along with the electronic brake control module, are specific to the truck. Question is whether the pump is specific. If not, then I could just swap a known good pump onto the BPMV which would allow me to avoid paying $750 for a reman unit.

Next question is regarding parts availability for the install.

#1 above are T-25 Torx single use torque to yield (TTY) GM Part # 12548267. I cannot find them. What is my risk of reusing these bolts?

#6 o-ring GM 12558272 and #13 valve tubes (single use) GM 12658294 are now discontinued and I cannot find. What is my risk of re-using these? Doesn’t seem like I have options and I’d hate to spend $750 on a reman BPMV only to fail because I do not have these install parts.
