A arm bushings

I used i big prybar and forced it to move, my truck was better after replacing them even they didnt look that bad.
The new one was a bit stiffer.

It's difficult to determine condition because they 'move' a little anyway. When the suspension cycles, the bushings actually twist and don't 'roll' like we think a bushing or bearing does.

Look for big 'cracks' in the rubber. Of couse as mentioned a prybar and look for movement. It souldn't be 'easy' to move the arm fore and aft.

Is there a good write up somewhere on front end rebuilding and checking? I am pretty sure I need to do some work, but have not started looking at how to check all this. I have never done it on this truck, nor on anything (ball joints, a arms, pitman arms, etc).

What is a good resource?

Have poly in my 95 and have't seen any ill effects... The T-Bars are fully cranked with 3500 bars so they dont move a heck of alot anyways.

I just replaced the front end of my truck (steering everything and suspension everything) back in May. I should have done a write up, but it took me a month to get it all finished.

What did it cost you in parts? I am thinking of doing similar.

Here is my parts list. The only thing I'm missing here are the Poly control arm bushings. I bought those from Summit and I think I paid ~$40 for them.
