If I get this 99' Suburban K2500 bought, What should do immediately to prevent any trans. issues. I expect it will need a re-build before you know it, but I need to buy time until money is flowing better. Any suggestion appreciated. I have a great trans shop 20 miles from me, I would have him do the upgrades. 4l80E, 95K miles, vehicle s very clean, looks very well kept. Shifts tight during test ride.

My transmission has not needed any work according to the PO. I put the electronics kit and filter in the pan when I thought my issue was the trans but turned out to be the IP. Seal the connector if you drop the pan to eleminate seeping or wicking.
