98 Fuel Filter Question

On the stock filter, looking down at it, the lines are towards the front of the engine - which is in from the tank, and out to the engine? I *think* I traced the one on the right going towards the IP.

Line on side with single fitting goes to tank.

With tank line to the back. Fitting on front left is to T-valve. Fitting on right is to IP.

This pic is of a FM that has had the Feed the Beast mod done to it so it won't look exactly like yours but you can get the idea.
