'94 2500 Silverado - Is the Headlight Switch Backlit?

Just replaced the headlight switch on my 1994 K2500 Silverado. Everything works correctly (park lights, headlights, dash lights), but when I drove it to work this morning, it seemed awful dark on the left side of the gauge cluster. As compared to the stock radio and HVAC clusters for instance.

Is there supposed to be backlighting for the switches over there (headlight, dash reostat and cargo light)? I can't remember.

1) I did not change either the cargo light or the dash reostat so nothing should have changed there. And 2) the headlight switch is a rocker switch so I can't see how it would be lit from behind.

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like a universal "no", so I will stop worrying and restrain myself from tearing back into the gauge cluster to see if something is wrong.

It just struck me as strange that there was no lighting over there. Guess I never noticed that before. And of course all my other (newer) vehicles have internal headlight switch lighting.
