I usually learn by the hand slap method myself. It's like an electric fence... "Oh, so that's where the limit is".
Sometimes learning is painful! Seems like I always do things the hard way! I have to give it to the site tho, really nice people here. Nicely run. I like it.

So far no one has told me I post to much, to often, and start to many topics either. Its good to be able to take a walk and not worry about stepping on toes.
This is the first forum that I have ever been a pert of and leave it to me to just in without educating myself first..things like I didn't know posts never go away and threads don't either. That I am aware of that is..

Today I'm stuck waiting for help to lift the bumper et all back on my truck after I put the class 5 hitch on. It's a cucv and has a bunch of extra steel back there. Wasting time...

Proof of what? I'm a late riser myself. Nights are for living, days for doing, those times between are for eating and sleeping.
My last reply had a couple oops in it. It's the weekend, time to relaxe.

Cucv bumpers are much heavier, tow ring brackets and the pintel hitch brackets behind. Getting everything lined up can be a little tricky.

I also like to use 1/4" soft bolts as hitch pins, sort of a safety shear pin when towing those 10k trailers:-D
Lol not sure that's a good idea to bolt the bumper with 1/4 bolts..the idea is for the bumper NOT!! To come off....use grade 8 proper size bolts. You want the hitch and bumper pretty much bullit proof.
