For those of you who have been waiting for a 6.5 to grace the pages of Diesel Power magazine your wait up. Breaking the 300 HP mark at the US Diesel Parts Dyno event has finally inspired Diesel Power to do an article on the truck that will be available next month. I hope it makes a good read because I don't even know what will be said.

I noticed that teaser on the "Next Issue" page of the latest DP magazine and I am looking forward to seeing the write up.

Have you received any interest from "World" or "Builder?" Diesel World had a "tech matters" letter in the last issue from a 6.5 owner in Africa that was responded to in a more thorough way than I have seen in any of the magazines. Perhaps they have a "ringer?" :biggrin5:
 
The truck was featured in volume 2 issue 3 of Diesel Tech this year. Not sure if it is still available but I do have a PDF file of the article if anyone wants it.

Got Mag Today And No 300hp 6.5!!!

I'm very disapointed and highly pissed of with Diesel Power Mag, there was no mention of this ''300 hp 6.5TD". Please someone link the article. sick of reading about 1200hp cummins or stacked LLY-Z-X-C --kiss my 6.5!!:mad2:
 
That chalks up how many promised and never delivered 6.5l articles? I am debating canceling sub. or letting it run out. :) maxxtorque deserves my $, and diesel world seems to cover at least some 6.5L tech articles. tech articles are better than nothing at all.

maxxtorque and diesel world might be getting $ set to them soon.

Anyone suggest any other mags for 6.5L?
 
For now its quarterly

I race to book store ony to leave empty handed for the last 3 months now. Its not worth buying as of late. DP that is.
 
My truck will be in the Diesel Power magazine that should be on news stands around the 7th of October. Don't give up on them yet.

I`ll second that RadioMan... It`s not a Rumor, i heard it through the grape vine...

But who let the cat out of the bag... I know sound travels fast through & across water , but it wasn`t me...
