Just purchased 94 flair and am now aware of the 6.5 gmc diesel. Am anticipating problems will arise. Hope you guys (members) will have my back with solid advice. Thanks in advance. Cowboyjim
 
Welcome. Post multiple pictures of the engine. That way we can see what components yours runs.

Never use starting fluid or let Coolant over 210.

Let us know how many miles and what work has been done you know of.

Welcome! As there is a high load on the MH you will find a BIG MPG improvement by using a bigger better turbo on that engine. The OEM GMx turbo chokes the engine over 2200 RPM.
