greetings guys. i see a lot of questions about egr cooler delete here & thought i would post my experence as i just completed this task. '06 ford f250 king ranch, 70k miles. bought kit from egrdelete.com. it came with new pass side up pipe, egr valve block off plate & cooler bypass tube & hose. very well made kit, fit perfect & $159 when i bought it. the end of the cooler bolts to the up pipe that delivers the gas to the intake, gas travels through the cooler long ways to get to the intake. the cooler is under the intake. pipes, turbo, intake, wiring harness, alt, belt, oil & fuel filter must be removed to get at cooler. then bypass tube goes on to route coolant back into engine. new up pipe goes on with no gas outlet for cooler. i left the egr valve in place to fool the pcm but it is not working, mil comes on due to no gas flow so i will have to deal with that. good instructions, but LOTS of tummy time under hood. some of those pipe fasteners & electrical connections were just plain insane to get to!

thanks guys. i didn't document the cooler delete, as that was just elementary mechanics. but i did take a pictorial of what i did next to the truck, which was a marc deluca cng system install. oh my!!!! stay tuned!
