5.0liter V8 cummins

I was just reading the new diesel world and the new cummins is a 5.0liter V8 there putting it in the new 1500 rams, not sure on specs though they didnt say guess we will wait to find out. Im interested to see a V8 cummins thats all new for the cummins family of motors.
 
It does sound intriguing. I know V8s aren't new to Cummins, but one that small is, I think. Personally, I'd love to see a 2-stroke Detroit V8 in something, something built to rev high and make an awesome sled puller.
 
this is going to be very interesting with GM's 4.5dmax, fords 4.4 lion, and the 5.0liter cummins ford dodge, how much are these quater tons going to hold now?? i think there just going to be for fuel millage if anything.
