So the transmission in the tahoe has jumped out of gear 3-4 times now over the last month or so. It has a USShift Quick 4 controller and has not set any trouble codes. So far it has been too rare of an occurrence for me to catch it with my laptop plugged in so I can see what it is doing. With my limited knowledge I am thinking a bad TPS or bad wiring connection... Is there anything internal/mechanical that I should be worried about? Any other symptoms to watch for? When it happens it only stays in neutral for about 5 seconds or so, then as I kinda pat the gas pedal it finally goes back into gear.

Make sure your ignition switch is good. The ignition switch normally supplies solenoid power and the controller grounds. If you lose power it can drop back to 2nd/limp mode.
