4L80E 5.7 vs 6.5

Good day all,

I havre the opportunity to buy a 1997 4l80e, coming from a wrecked 1997 K3500 SRW Pickup (don't know what means SRW though), with a 5.7l gas engine.

Question is : would this trans fit on a K1500 with a 6.5l? Would it fit on 1994-1996, once oil trans cooler lines modded to fit? Iheard the torque converter should be swap to a 6.5l TC?

It will work just fine behind the 94-96 trucks with the adapter line and fittings to hook up the cooler lines. You will need to swap converters as the 5.7L converter is pretty loose compared to a 6.5's. And SRW means single rear wheel.
