I have located a used 4L60E coming from a 1999 Suburban with a 5.7 Vortec engine.

We're willing to buy to replace a blown trans on a 1999 Silverado 1500, with a 5.3l Vortec engine.

According to both VINs, these vehicles do have the same trans : M30 TRANSMISSION,AUTOMATIC 4 SPEED,4L60E,ELECTRONIC 4-SPD A/TRANS(M30)

Anybody knows if there are differences of pattern between a Sub and a Silverado pickup, considering the Sub had a 5.7 Vortec and the Silverado a 5.3 Vortec.

Should the trans interchange as the VINS suggest?

Not to sure as 99-00 was a transition time for GM where they implemented some valve body changes and the EC3 torque converter strategy. You can try it and see as it SHOULD work, but I honestly do not know for certain if it will or not.
