I have three dogs, my wife claims to have four...whats she mean by that?

14 year old mutt = Blackie (on her last leg)

13 year old cross between a husky and some thing else = Casper (He's deaf)

8 year old Spitz = Ona (Just diagnosed with Lime disease)

They ride in the bed when I have the cap on and they ride up front when the caps off, takes an hour to clean the hair off of the seats so they don't ride often when the caps off.

Well, I DIDN'T start with 8...

Started with 1, got 1 more, then got the "last one", then came the mix *I* had to have (chi/corgi), then came the mortgage crisis and full shelters. They total 42 pounds and ride in my truck in the puppy car carriers.

Wow. I like Chihuahuas (never owned one) but EIGHT! We have had 6 dogs before....I think the perfect number is one...maybe two.

Two of our dogs, Lab and a Boxer. And we also foster 1 dog for the local boxer rescue. When they ride with me in the truck, they sit in the back seat. That is why i have a crew cab. Didn't buy it for kids, or people. I actually bought it for my Lab. He was the only one i had when i got the truck.

Oldest is : Opal - Golden Retriever with food allergies 8 years of special food
hyper brings me everthing she can fit in her mouth.
Middle is : Ruby - Shepard, Huskey mix obused when little, still skitish after 7
yrs. Stolen from a freinds (SOB) neihbor 6 yrs ago. She is a
talker still has sore hips Sob used to kicker her. NICE huh.
Lastly : Lilly - Pug three years ago had traffic stopped with a pack of wild
dogs crossing road, Wife and kids were there and pulled
over and she tried to jump in van. Put adds in paper no
takers, so she gets fixed and that makes three DOGS......Curly , Larry and Moe

None are really mine but

four German Shepherds, ride in the dog box I made. a number of states won't let you put your dog in the back without a dog crate. I think California will allow you to put your kids in the back but not your dog
