305/70R16 on K2500?

I saw a set of 305s on a non lifted truck Thursday. They were on a 16x10 wheel of some sort, similar to a 186 Eagle - I didn't notice any brand on the centercaps. He may have had the bars cranked up a bit, but there was no body lift and no suspension lift. They looked like they rubbed quite a bit. It was a nice fat looking tire, though. Probably too much rubbing for my comfort level.

I have 305 55 20's on my 06 and they rub new when I hit a bump at full crank, they also rub my sway bar. Mine are on 20x9's and don't have a crazy offset, fits under factory flares

I realize the thread is a couple weeks old but I haven't been around in a while and if Snowdrift wants to know someone else will.
My Suburban had 305/70s on it when I bought it. Stock wheels, no spacers and as far as I could tell no lift, torsion tweak or other wise.
The rear of the front fenderwells need to be clearanced (mine were apparently done naturally) but other than that they fit fine.

Definitely not body lifted.
Here it is with 2"/2.5" lift and essentially 34x12.5s

Nah, that brown Suburban is definitely not body lifted - look at the tow hook location in relation to the bumper.
I ended up with 285s and they fit about like I remember my 33s. I have diamond plate mud flaps and rubber that hangs down below that to keep the chips off the bottom of the cab. Rubs on these pretty bad, but it took about 35,000 miles for me to rub a hole in the aluminum with my last set.
