Always stirrin' the pot
Hi all,
My brother is looking at the 3.0 ecoDiesel Dodge trucks and has seen fuel economy numbers that are varied. In particular, a 2015 two tone Laramie and the 2015 SLT have the same engine, transmission and differential, yet the mileage is 17/21 and 19/27 respectively. Is this from the cylinder management system that shuts down cylinders when not needed, or something else? He could not find gear ratio numbers, but I don't think gear ratios could have that big of difference. Any ideas or places to look? Thanks.
