My grandfather bought a new 2010 Z71 a few months back, and of course, it rides like a dozer as it's so low in the front. I looked under and no torsion bar setup is there anymore. When did GM stop this?

What are my cheap leveling options now?

How is it set up? Coil springs?

looks like so I believe:

Minus the lift kit stuff of course.....

Yes it's coils. I didn't know GM went this route on the 1/2 tons.

As soon as they went to the NBS on the 1500 the front end was like the 2007 & up Tahoe/Burb IIRC

Driving her Tahoe is like night and day from the older body style she had (2002) which also was a big improvement over the '99 Yukon before that. The '07 with rack and pinion handles like a sports car. Since I drive it rarely, I find it TOO responsive for me.

level kit are real cheap and easy on the gmt 900 half tons....shock spacer and a doughnut on top of the spring...

I agree, I love our new 'Burb Z71. Feels way more solid, handles better, has much better turning radius, and it just is nicer all-around.
