It has been sitting for a while, the fuel is stale and have a chance of having micro-organism growth in it.
Put some anti algae in there and replace the filter after it is running.
Just put a 12V source into the LP while running it.
After it runs for a few miles, replace the filter.
Fill up the tank FULL.

Do NOT fill the tank if there is a hint of bug growth. That just makes more contaminated, corrosive, fuel you have to get rid of.

I would agree with that. Examine it and determine if the fuel has bugs. If so dont run it- dispose of it. Gas wash tank and lines, filter housing, etc. Then new filter with the bug killer juice to flush the ip and injectors. Dropping the tank is not a horrible idea to be 100% it is perfectly clean after infected.
