I just replaced the vane sensor. Do I need to relearn and if so what is the easiest way to do that?

I believe it will perform it's own relearn in several key cycles

Can I ask if you were getting a CEL DTC Code? Associated with the part you replaced.

Check engine light was on. I replaced vane turbo sensor. Not sure about the codes. The light actually went off after about 15 miles and 5 key cycles

Just curious how you knew to change the turbo vane sensor with no code go go by...
If you have access to a code reader, hook it up and see if there is a stored code...

I see what u mean. I went to auto zone and they gave me a reader. Plugged it in to my truck. Took less than 15 seconds. Then went back in and they got the code and told me it was the vane sensor.

LOL. Yes Mike. Just curious if that solved his issue...

I just ignore both. Still runs great and I get 17-18 mpg on summer blend so screw it...

Same here Mike. The CEL comes on and goes off mysteriously. I have been averaging 18.5mpg mixed driving, and 21mpg on highway. But lately I have been pushing 70 to 75mph...
I haven't noticed much if any power loss. My vanes must be stuck in open position...lol
Plenty of power at WOT...
