It started here http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?t=40916, all of the parts I ordered are installed as well as ac delco fuel filter, Allison spin on, mobile delvac 5/40 synthetic w/ wix oil filter. Amsoil in all the drive train.

Now I am trying to see if I can get it to consistently run 15-15.5. It is running on 20x9s w/ 33x12.5s so I don't expect 20 but some claim it. I just want mid range mpg atleast.

I know I need to get efi live, I have an Autocal. Will run in an econ/heavy tow tune.

I tested my engine/trans today w/ a boosted 4x4 launch today, that was an experience lol. Didn't limp using the extreme setting on my old edge. It was mid 20's outside. Fuel rail got close to defuelling but never did like when I was towing.

So i am guessing a LP would help, I don't plan to do launches like that often. What LP would suit my towing needs.

The KENENDY pump flows roughly 60-70 GPH after the filter. I filled a 6 gallon can in roughly 5 minutes with a line hooked up after my stock filter head. It is probably equivalant to a 95 GPH RAPTOR(just ALOT quieter). Another good option for stock trucks to slightly modified is the DURAMAX VAN lift pump.

You also have to make some different mileage calculations if you go with a different tire size. You can't go by the DIC for an accurate MPG check. I run twin Kennedy lift pumps. I have no idea what they put out. I run them in between the nicktane filter in the rear, and the nicktane filter in the front. It makes fuel filter changes much easier. ;)

You have to be cautious with your stock tie rods with launches like that. AND your Allison.

DIC reads 17 lol, typical lie-o-meter. My speedo reads correct w/ GPS, that's the only reason I still have my edge chip..... I had never done a launch but I am sleeved and braced. The launch was meant to be a test of the tranny and fuel system. I know over loaded I can limp the fuel rail but it takes perfect conditions to limp my tranny and its always in 2nd gear up 2 hills I know of (I go around them or manually shift the tranny over them now crawling in 1st or lugging 3rd)......... I was thinking of going to nicktane upfront and some kind of Cat filter in the rear, w/ a raptor (from Leroy) in between...... I want a built tranny, if I keep the truck, but only to hold heavy loads better, I'm happy w/ the stock/tow HP of the edge so I don't for see my self going past that..... I am still trying to talk myself into keeping the truck so I want to give it some help to be the best it can.

Sounds like your on top of it Tanner. Not that I second guessed you at all. Just throwing things out there in case other members read through. ;)

I will say a boosted 4x4 launch can make the front end get a bit squirrelly. Took a few tries to control the front end pulling.

Another reason for the raptor is its a common 6.5 mod, if i need bigger it can always be put on a 6.5.

Good to know the Kennedy pump is only 60-80, I didn't see where Kennedy provided that info.

Try doing a boosted 4X4 launch on a prepped track, and breaking all 4 tires loose. Now THAT'S a SQUIRRLY ride(and yes I did this awhile back when I was at teh track and tried laucnhing at 10PSI with my tires still aired up).

I don't doubt you for a sec. I didn't see the last boost # before I let off the brake but my truck started creeping and all 4 33x12.5s mickey Thompson atz's with 50-60psi lit.

I backed off the pedal on the next run lol.
