Replace Allison for two reasons: One tired of putting in a Qt. every 2 months due to factory designed leaks, and 2015 started to see lip mode due to heating issues. Got from Jasper, 3 year warranty stays with the truck, tow, mech., hotel, and rent a car included ( just let them know first where ever you are at and they will take care of you. Great deal at a good price.

sorry new to this site, 4.5 duramax, used 2 Qt's. oil in 50 miles interstate. Pulled off Interstate knocking at idle, noise gone 800+/- rpm, filled oil. same noise, no leaks under, drove 50 miles same results while driving and after 50 Miles, 2 Qt's. low. Checked in/out of turbo no oil present, no exhaust smoke. Where is the oil going, and why the knock at low rpm? Idle about 30# running 50# +. New oil, filters etc...

Remove the oil fill cap and look for smoke. Knocking and using oil sure sounds like you might have cracked a piston.

So, are you trying to say that Jasper has a rebuilt Allison transmission that corrects a problem that is non existent on them? Factory designed leaks? Not only that, but everybody on this forum knows very well that Jasper rebuild engines are pretty much junk. I can only imagine how bad they would screw up an Allison... YIKES!
