01 exhaust on 06

So I have been looking arround to see what I want to do for a exhaust on my truck and my friend that sold his 01 a while back told me he still has the exhaust from it and I can have it. It was a turbo back 4" system. I'm just curious if that will fit my 06 without any problems?

I know MBRP and Diamond Eye sell down pipe back exhausts that cover from 01 to 06 with the same P/N. Your best bet is to find out who the exhaust is made by and look it up online.

it will depend on the wheel base of the truck[reg cab/ext/crew and long/short bed]

He cant remember who made it he thinks Diamond Eye but hes not sure. His truck was the same wheel base. (CCSB)
