01 7.3 Powerstroke Injectors

I am thinking about buying another truck (WTF)!!! I was the previous owner and know the whole life of the it. It is a 2001 7.3 with 153,000 Mi i put a leveling kit on it, Edge evolution, Cold air intake, 4-5" exhaust, air bags, and now he is telling me #3 and #8 injectors are dead. it is a F-350 single wheel regular cab. It is still a very nice truck. He want's $8,000 for it the way it is. I guess I am asking is it worth it and how bad is it to change the injectors.

Injectors are pricey.

I am sure if you shopped around you could get a better deal.

This is what I do not like about the powerstroke, everything on it is very expensive when it starts to wear out.

it also could be something simple like a idm or under valve cover harness
