01 2500 hd 8.1l slight jerking at highway speeds,

My daughter's truck has suddenly started to jerk at highway speeds, I can't tell what is causing it, can anyone offer some suggestions?
 
Does it have an EGR valve? I'm not that familiar with the 8.1l, but an EGR valve can cause jerking at cruise speeds.
