I followed the first link and was done with both in just under an hour. Now I need to do some homework and research "leveling towing mirrors". Why cant they make them level when they manufacture them???
Before:
After: power, heated with blinkers
Do I have to remove the door panel to install these mirrors? I pulled off the triangle piece to get to the nuts, but the harness runs way down into the door
WOW.....I ordered them from work late Tuesday night and they arrived today! I cant wait to install them! They look badass! I cant stand the little tiny mirrors on these trucks that are meant to tow!
I ordered these last night.....cant wait for them to get here

I found my plug down further. Follow the passenger side battery cables down to where they go into the black split loom. Mine was folded over and zip ties to that
The thing gets great mileage now........21 highway.......I might just have to try that cover! It came with the truck, and has never been used. Still in the package with the directions!
GREAT NEWS! I found the cord! My truck is [plugged in as we speak!!!! Where the battery cables...
It's collllld up here in the north east! Got my buildsheet and it says I have a block heater. Posted about it last year and everyone said to look under the passenger side battery......which I did, and theres nothing there. Someone said check for the wires running along with the battery...
Cant thank you enough.:thumbsup::thumbsup: Follwed your instructions today and got everything hooked up and it works like a charm!
Thanks again!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Man, that is a huge help.......thank you very much!!! I have to work all weekend, so I wont get to play with the truck til Mon or Tues....but I'll let you know how it goes.....thanks again
I had heard that it switches a ground......And your right.....after looknig further, it's the cargo light. Seems like the cargo light switch and the fog light switch are run off the one plug. I'd definitely love some more help installing this setup as I'd much rather use the cargo light switch...
But doesnt a 12V test light do the same thing? It works on all the fuses and such.
The wires coming out of the switch are also very small.......probably 20gauge or something similar
