Okay guys very helpful info we have a dealer about 10 miles from here so I will give them a call. I guess I can give them my VIN and they can find out what I need?
So can I take it to a shop to have the codes pulled out of the ecm or sense I cleared them will they still be in there? I will drive it tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for all the replies and help.
Last filter change was about 2yrs ago. The thing was fine when I parked it never had any problems before this. Like I said when I came home and tried it it was just like new so I am as puzzled as a bed bug. She only has 139,000 on it and has always pulled fine.
Okay I have an 02 2500 HD Duramax Allison Tranny. It has been setting for a couple weeks and I go out this morning to drive it to work. I crank it up let it run for 5 to 10 minutes go out to leave put it in R and nothing pull it in D nothing. I go to work come home pull the codes and I get...
My brother in law has a 2000 F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke. He was getting up to 20mpg and now he can barely get 12mpg and have lost a lot of power. He has had it serviced all filters changed but still has same issues. Can anyone shed some light on this????
Hi guys I have a 2002 2500HD Duramax and the brake pedal is sort of like stepping on a wet sponge. Just wondering if I may need to bleed the brakes or if there may be more going on than just air in the system. Any help would be great and thanks for your help.
Ok guys I have it figured out duh huh. We just got back from a camping trip in Tennessee and as we were sitting in traffic she started to get warm inside the cab, so I turned the fresh air side on and while we sat there after about 3 to 4mins I heard something rattle like something falling in a...
Thanks Pepperidge mine is manual also so I think I will have someone check it out to see if it needs to be recharged. I can turn the truck off for maybe 10mins and start it up and cools fine so it may be low on freon.
I have checked and system doesn't need any freon. I am leaning towards one of the pressure switches could be bad. But will that cause the airflow to fall off? When the airflow falls off it feels like maybe 30 to 35% less and that is on max any ideas??? Oh yea the drain is clear.
I am still having the same problem with my A/C as it works great for about 2hrs and then it starts blowing cool not cold and the air flow drops off quite a bit. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong as I have taken out the filters and that wasn't it? Also I have the manual temp control.
I have an 02 Chevy 2500HD and was wondering if they are wired for outside temperature and compass in the overhead console? If so can someone tell me where I might find one to install in my truck? Thanks for looking.
I am having the same problem with my 02 2500HD and was hoping someone would share some light on this problem. Mine is blowing cool not hot air, but when it is blowing cool it seems like the air flow drops off at least 30%, Any ideas. HELP PLEASE
