Any suggestions for cleaing greasey engines without a pressure washer?

There are places people prolly dont need them but scrape on cordboard in to some contractor bags, soak up some solvent, brush and scrape and mop with couple rolls of towels and eventually soap and water if you want it clean. I am in a place equiped and allows it and its a different matter and...

    Pressure Washers

I agree the Easy Clean looks like a dandy unit. At first the portAbility seems like a great idea and it is if a guy needs it but electric and plumbed in has its place also. If I had to do mine again it would be LP simply for a little convenience and maintenance. I might be building a water...

    Pressure Washers

I got a pop up from Lowes, they sell Simpson and see some nice units starting about a grand. They got enuf water, 3.5 and 4 gpm it starts to do real work. They make good electric units also but they aint 300$ either. I live where there is mud and snow, ice and salt. I deice in the winter so...

    Shop aircompressor thermal shut off

I been at this a while. Nothing burned down and the motor ran and didnt overheat, didnt catch on fire. You forgot to unplug or shut a valve off, good reminder as it is. I forget a valve on occasion, normally nothing bad happens and shutting them in is the best thing can be done. Dont let one...

    Pressure Washers

You can stand back to reduce pressure, pressure and lots of water, mainly lots of water are what provide cleaning units which can be multiplied with heat.

    Slippery 4l80E

The one in my 99 Express is slipping cold. The juice in it looks pretty. I was looking at some vids and holy sheet, looks like a lot of parts. Appears it might even require some hard parts not in a kit? Makes a reman look better and who does quality?

Boat dock Electrical safety ? GFCP with GFCI

Are the changes to garages really "drastic" or do they now include some 240 circuits? I wonder how much it has tio do with new import equipment? Some of the hookups seem questionable as are the voltage adapters. I havnt read it, post it up?

Boat dock Electrical safety ? GFCP with GFCI

It doesnt reference ground. Only current imbalance between legs. Its one of the only listed ways to replace qa 2 wire with a 3 wire recept. A faulty N to G bond on a grounded neutral service or disconnected ground may leave faulted equipment floating at 120V on common single phase service...

    Gelled up. Maybe

If it was truly gelled them wouldn't be good for heating fuel used at low temp.

Boat dock Electrical safety ? GFCP with GFCI

Still relevent. Maybe more so since we are nearly 2 code changes away and they might even apply this to some garage circuits eventually.

Boat dock Electrical safety ? GFCP with GFCI

For giggles I looked,,, seems the major change was that the 17 code included single family and reduced the threshold all along the way to 30ma. Doesnt surprise me marina owners, dock owners dont know. Many of the other trades do not know the details of their own profession,,, as well drillers...

Boat dock Electrical safety ? GFCP with GFCI

Couldnt hurt to put 30 ahead of it. But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a gfci doesnt have anything to do with ground, in a test or any other way. It really should be called a ground fault assumption device. There was 1 here, found a simple bond in the service that fed it missing.
