Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm having the same sound as in this vid on my new to me 2011 GMC. I was concerned about it and have been searching and didn't find anything until this. It seems to be only on cold start up. All this new emissions stuff has me at a loss. So this is normal?

Ok...a little more intell. I noticed the black switch/lever under the extended cab door handle yesterday. I worked that lever several times then shut the door and opened it back up and the radio shut off. I'm guessing this is the switch I need to look at. Going to get some contact cleaner and...

This afternoon the radio stayed on when I opened the door so I reached over to open the passenger door and as soon as I opened the door the radio turned off. Tonight the radio worked like it should. So is there a switch inside the door tied to the inside handle? Hope there is or maybe a relay...

Are you asking if I leave the door open with the radio on will they turn off? I haven't tried that or opening any other doors to see if the radio turns off. I know when I shut the door the lights turn off after the delay.

Started this week when I shut off the truck and open the door the radio isn't turning off. Any ideas whats wrong and where do I start looking to fix this? :???:

I've had my fingerstick in and out 3 times and no problems still works good. It isn't hard to install. You may need to have the egr motor replaced. Mine was replaced under warrenty.

The stick is pretty easy to install just be careful the wires on the truck are pretty small and easy to cut.

Those are good numbers. My truck has never seen anywhere near those numbers. My last trip to work I went 354 miles and used 21.6 gals 16.3 mpg. 300 miles were interstate cruise set at 70 mph 54 city. This was on my mileage tune. Best I've ever seen a little over 18mpg.

No Paul I didn't. When I hooked up the 5th wheel the truck sagged just as much as without the Timbrens. The ride was stiffer too. Just didn't like them at all. Going with airbags when I get caught up with other things.

The ride was so bad with the Timbrens I just took them off and they are setting in my garage. I'm still going to go with airbags just haven't got them yet...too many other things going on. I sure thought these would work.

When I still had mine right before I upgraded to the Predator my Hypertech started doing some really weired stuff but no codes. I started seeing Tons of smoke and bad defuels when at WOT. Never thru any codes. I really didn't like the Hypertech in general.
