Window Regulator on the Grand Caravan

I agree. But they would put them where you can't get a driver on them.

Window Regulator on the Grand Caravan

Lol! My beef about doors is there isn't enough room to get enough hands in to do the job. And I come out all scratched up.

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

It was a rebuild. And very badly rebuilt. That's the last time I'll get a crate rebuild. I had to do more work to it then if I rebuilt it myself.

Good luck! Yeah, you need a mortgage just for the hookup. Oil leaks are a wonder. Most are pretty straight forward. But, then you get one that just stagers the imagination. I put a crate engine into my 84 Chevy, and it leaked out the front. Looked all over. Valve covers, timing chain cover...

Could be a cracked case. But, I have seen big rigs leak in some positions at the pitman shift, and not in others. Of coarse, the shaft come out the side of the box on those. But when you make turns, different pressures are put on the pitman shaft. Defective pitman shaft seal? Just enough play in...

Window Regulator on the Grand Caravan

This is, what I call the Queens Chariot. I think I work on this more than all my trucks combined. About a month ago, my wife told me she went out to go somewhere, and the driver's window was down, and would roll back up. So I took the door apart and found the cable window regulator had broke, or...

This case interests me. Wondering if they are o-ring fittings. Maybe an o-ring rolled on you during installation, and the heat swelled it up and sealed it. Or a flare fitting. The gush of oil cleaned it out and let is seat.

    Hi Guys

Thank you for the welcome. I'm not sure what the signature page is. I'm still figuring the site out.

    Hi Guys

Thank you. That square body was my daily until about two years ago. It developed low oil pressure and a rod knock. I enjoyed driving it. Haven't had time to pull the engine and check it out.

    Hi Guys

This is my first post to a blog, EVER! I'm not much of a talker, so blogs have been a little intimidating to me. So I hope I can break through and open up a little. I have three trucks. A 98 Chevy K2500 extended cab. 84 Chevy C20, and a 63 GMC 1000. Yes, a Chevy guy, and unapologetic about it. I...
