    Any thing to watchout for?

I may choose to remain blissfully ignorant about the diy stuff on this truck for a while. I drove it 165 miles home today and I must say I was pleased. It maybe isn't as snappy on the throttle as my Dmax w/ the Edge/att, but why would it be? I think I'm going to enjoy this truck. Oh ya...

    Any thing to watchout for?

I'm hoping to look at an '03 reg cab sometime this week. Anything in particular to watch out for in this year of the 5.9 engine or tranny wise? The truck has 70k on it and I'm planning on it being my daily driver/farm truck.

    Farming Thread:

I feel for you guys having trouble. I went through it last year. This year is a whole other story. Had very little replant in the corn, none in the beans. Corn started tasseling early this week. Rains have been moderated and well timed, no hail as of yet. I guess we are the garden spot...

    RV'ing in the Driveway?

You may be nuts, but this doesn't prove it. There is just something peaceful about sitting in your RV, even if it is next to your house. I've done it myself.

(4/20/09) How many dogs do you have, and do they ride with you in your truck?

Two dogs for me, one inside and one outside. Amber, the litle Dorerman @ 110lbs, is the house dog. And the one who goes camping with us. Toby, the outside dog, weighs in at 150lbs. He eats all the left overs (except for potatoes, unless soaked in gravy) and stays at home to keep an eye on...

    Spring Combining.

It took a couple guys until Christmas to get done, but never saw any left after that. How did it stand through winter? What kind of moisture did it maintain?

Nope, I don't have a perceived threat. I know, random shit happens.

    Boat buying advice

I should have a mod close this thread. I found one way to quickly after asking for advise. Only got it in the water three times last fall before getting to the field which was followed by winter. Seems like all I could have wanted though. Go away winter!

(3/9/09) How far do you live from your place of birth?

About 3 miles from the actual hospital. And except for a couple years in college I've always lived in this zip code.

(3/2/09) How far did you go in school?

I find that right there very interesting. I'm guessing you have many stories you could tell. My self: I was a couple years into college when my Dad was killed. Quit school and took over the farm operations. I've learned a ton since.

    Bought my 1st fiver....

I have to disagree. The size of the unit my have something to do with it. I have a tripod and it helps. Not the end all be all, but with two kids and a large dog moving around I'll take what I can get.

    Traded fifth wheels

I finally took this thing across a scale this morning. With no water or inside type supplies it weighed like this: Combined weight:19,820lbs Camper alone:12,040lbs Truck alone:7780lbs Pin weight:2080lbs I was a little supprised at the pin weight. It doesn't feel the heavy. It figures...
