The print book just came out for 2011 2500/3500 trucks - go here:
http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/
then click "2011" and "light trucks" then division (Chevy / GMC) then "print book" then "select" and pick the model.
Note when you click "print" it "prints" the book on the screen not your...
I'm surprised AVG caused such problems. I have it loaded on 3 laptops - Win 7 Pro, Vista Pro and Vista Home, and two desktops - Win 7 Pro and Vista Ultimate and not a single issue after the AVG update to 9.079.
Hmmm....
When AVG 9 first came out it was for Win7. They released an update for everything else and it seems to be working well on all my stuff now - Win 7 64, Vista Pro 32 and XP.
It's free so you might give it a try - especially since it has spyware protection in the free version now.
Update: I used simple green on a cloth and removed all the goo. I also saw the weatherstrip has little holes underneath the front edge. I reapplied silicone to the outside surfaces, and then sprayed a little silicone inside the weatherstrip through these holes. This fixed 90% of the problem...
First real complaint with the dealer I have been going to lately. I went in to have the windshield washer recall done, and the service writer asked if I had any squeaks or pops from around my doors. Of course I do - all the LMM Crew Cabs have them, but I have minimized them by cleaning the...
Next time you are at the dealer, ask him for the turbo option RPO code and the cost.
I'm laughing my ass off about this one! What a moron that service manager is!! Almost as stupid as the service manager that told me my 06 lemon had 18 computers, and they had replaced them all trying to get...
Wash them in hot water, minimal detergent and NO fabric softener or dryer sheets of any kind (leaves a coating that limits absorption and will scratch your clearcoat)
I have used Cover Craft covers for several years. Cabela's sell 'um. Made out of heavy denim, washable, fit fairly well, but a PITA to install on the rears seats of my CC...
Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> User Accounts -> click your account name.
If you're not already set up as an administrator, click change account type, click the administrator button and click change.
If you still have that UAC crap activated you'll probably have to click continue a...
Probably just the way they wrote it. Seems that's what happens with most everything I install any more. I think the programmers do that to keep folks from messing around with the program files.
I guess they don't care about the data files!
The "user" folder replaced the "my Documents" folder in previous versions. That's probably why half the stuff is going there. Don't think you can get rid of it but you can remap by going Start-> and right click the folder (documents, music, etc) and click "properties" then the location tab...
Give it a gentle shove back in a bit and see if it will retract. If so then run it all the way in and back out several times.
There's also a little clutch adjustment inside the mirror that may need to be tightened. I fought this continually on my '03 and two new mirrors installed on warranty...
Did you actually get the dealer to do this for you? My neighbor was told by GM TAC that they had no plans to allow the dealers to do it. He is really interested in getting done for his truck if this is true.
Thanks,
Mike
