Update: i have no idea what was wrong to begin with, but i changed batteries and changed back to my old optical sensor, and changed fuel filter, and it now works haha
this is probably a stupid question but im not an electrician just a student with a hubbymechanic side project, but how does one check for 60hz at the pcm? i have a mulitimeter, however on the pcm there are three different connections with a ton of wires
Yeah i have done that and it does start after a long crank, and it runs very smooth in limp mode, i have also gone over pretty much every wire there is in the car haha, i have had the car for 3 years and it has been a pain evry step.of the way, so i think i just have to admit defeat and get rid...
To answer my own question if anyone else ever struggles with this, i loosened the entire av pump bracket, it is mounted with 3 15mm bolts, and when one loosens these, one can jiggle it just enough to get the sensor out.

Hi, i have to chanfe my crankshaft position sensor, however whe trying to take it out it hits on the power steering pump, is there any easy way to loosen the pump just to jiggle it a bit? If only it would be about 2 millimeters shorter it would slide right out. If not there is a way to loosen it...
Also sometimes when it idles, it drops way to low on the Rpm and it basically sounds like the engine tries to kill itself, however its only like a second or two, and its back to normal
My 6.5td 97 runs perfectly fine until about 2000rpm and above, at this point it starts hiccuping and goes into limp mode. Usually the code p0251 and p0355 comes. I have gone over all grounds, changed pmd and relocated, and done so much more i cant even remeber. Anyone have som good ideas for...
