    Porting 6.2 Heads

If you're worried about cracking, do a pre emptive strike. I forget which side (intake or exhaust) there are 4 little (1/4") freeze plugs type plugs.pull them out, have a shop ream out the bore, and press in what looks like a valve guide. This is how the cracks are repaired after they crack, and...

    6.5 Na Max Potential?

X2 on higher compression. Deck the block, use stock head gaskets and hold on. Use a delta cam. Use marine injectors with raised pop pressure. Take advantage of ceramic coatings if rules allow.

Hey Chris, cant tell for sure, but in the bottom pic it almost looks like some of the coating came off? Between the clamp and blanket.

I was kinda more interested in what the benefit was. Meaning, was it worth the extra $$. Is it stronger?

Where can one obtain a Transtar T/C? Never mind, I just googled them. Appears there is a dealer in Addison, which is fairly close to me. Jorge, what model did you get? Was is the GM 81 BP? Description of the T/C says it has 1800-2000 stall. Ferminator, I can't tell from catalog if there is...

Chris, do you think that, that particular configuration will work with a DS4? I mean work well/good.

    HX40 wII turbo

I glanced at his site, but he has no info on it (New turbo). That's why I was askin. Guess I'll have to wait a lil bit longer.

Yeah, 94 & 95's are getting harder to find, let alone a decent one. Be nice to include 96 and up in the search.

    Keep an eye open

Ya know, if people start paying too much attention to our boat anchors, were gonna have to pay more for stuff. Kinda like the cko turbos jumping up in price after they figured out we liked em. Double edged sword here.

Opinions on reverse cooling our 6.5's

A while back, iirc, heath sold a thing to aid in the cooling of the back of the heads. I can't remember the name right now, but I do remember turbine doc had one for a while on his truck. I don't think heath sells it anymore, why? Didn't work out so well, not enough of a market, too pricey? Just...
