    No picture handy but its just like a weep hole on a water pump. Will be towards the front side.

    K1500 Isuzu 6 cylinder turbo diesel

    I did a Isuzu 4bdt2 swap in my old Suburban (have a thread in the forum about it). Those are really nice engines. The 6 cylinder I bet is a beast or could be made into one. The 4 cylinder was massive and weighed as much as a 6.5!

    From everything you said and pouring water on it gets it to start I'd say the IP is about done.

    Well thats not a proper hose (fuel injection hose) so yeah its going to fail possibly. Even so Ive never seen or heard that it was even a thing. Use the correct parts and should never have a problem.

    FYI Fuel Pressure Tap. Buy the original here https://leroydiesel.com/products/leroys-fuel-pressure-tap-fpt/ Ive never heard of a hose between the FFM and IP collapse or have any problem, with our FTB kit it would be exceedingly rare!. If someone wanted I could add the fitting like pictured...

    (10 years ago) If I recall they could be rusted so you may need to work it/twist it out. Some lube if you can will help.
