Based on that, it'll be about an inch and a half difference in height. That would give me 5 1/2 inches of clearance. Since my hitch will only go 4 inches either way - It'll be close, but I think I'll be OK. Thanks Devin.

I tow a fifth wheel with 7" clearance to the bed rail on my 06 LLY 2500 standard bed. I know the NBS has a higher rail. Questions: What will I loose in clearance going to the NBS? A Retrax cover sits about 1/2 above the rail - add that to the extra height of the NBS bed rails and...

I used RP for 3 changes and lost/burnt a quart or more of oil by the next oil change. I won't pretend to know why, but I have also tried/used Amsoil, Mobil 1 and Shell Rotela (all synthetics) and don't have the problem anymore. For now, I'll stick with Rotella and/or Amsoil.

If it hasn't snowed (roads been salted) I will ride until it does. Temp ony impacts the length of the ride and number of coffee stops. lol Once salt hits the road - she sits until a good rain washes it away.

I just picked up a craftsman 3 ton with two stands and creeper (don't remember how much - maybe $150). the first one lasted 8 years. Unless something has changed, I like their stuff. I didn't spend the $$$ for the one or two pump raise though.
