    Second CDR Valve in 12 months

    I've developed a bad oil leak, seems to be coming from the driver's side valve cover gasket.     Wastegate Fault with Turbomaster

    Now that I've got the truck running good and have bypassed the wastegate solenoid with a homebuilt turbomaster, I'm getting code 78 (wastegate solenoid fault) flashing on occasion. Any way to fool the ECM so a code doesn't flash?

    Preferred choice of oil

    Wondering what weight of oil is best for these trucks? The cap on the engine states 15W-40, seems awful heavy. Down here in Georgia, freezing temps are never an issue, would think a lighter weight oil would be better on the engine components. Thoughts?
