    Electronical Fuel Pressure Gauge

I had a needle valve type and the internal pipe threads threads were too shallow and stripped before it could get tight enough to seal. I also had a stone snubber on hand so I have been running with that and it seems to be functioning just fine, even the extra mechanical gauge added in, between...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

If getting them overheated drums reconditioned, dont let them do it on a lathe. Cutting tool just jumps over those hard spots. It takes a sander or a grinder to cut out those blued spots.

I currently have the 190 stats in the housing on my enjun. I’m thinking that it should have 195s in there. IDK what a difference it would make though.

    Problem: Heavy shudder upon braking

Only thing I know can cause that is warped rotor. Jack it up, remove front tire/wheel. Hold a center punch real close to rotor and turn the rotor. See if the punch drags on the rotor. Could maybe also be created from an out of round rear braking drum.

Get the hed checked out, check pushing rods for straight, new gaskets and run it. It is possible someone may have floated the valves and a couple pushing rods jumped track.

Haynes book should be good enough. Haynes should tell You if the headbolts should be reusable, and if a sealant is needed on the threads when going back together.

    My son's 1968 Chevy

Get the book. Thats the advice that I give to everyone. An original OE overhaul/repair book is the best, but having a Haynes book setting there can also be mighty helpful as they sometimes shows short cuts that can be done without costing in damage. And, AFAIK, those head bolts are reusable.
