SOrry to say but I'm in the process of doing this sway and those plugs are not the same. The plug and socket for the CS130 is oval shaped and the CS144 I just purchased is rectangular, This verified by the pico wiring pigtail I had to purchase seperately.

During my work break I stopped by Advance Auto and they had both alternators, externally the bolt patterns look the same, but I'm not counting chickens here. With the known issue of Heat weakens the Bridge Rectifier which is the main cause of alternator failures, causing trouble with the CS130...

It's a '96 K1500 Suburban w/5.7l/350 fully loaded from the dealer (have the window siticker build sheet) mods. LED headlights w/GLASS composites, Hella Jumbo fog lights, added underhood relay box under the hood for control of both. Now trying to upgrade the alternator from the CS130 to the CS144.

I'm in the process of this upgrade as well. In this consumer desert I like and work in that rear support bracket is impossible to come by. I've been doing web searches but all I've found is that it's an obsolete part, much like me.
