    Fuel line Schematic

...these lines. Good to know. I bought 25 ft of 3/8 line. Coming Friday. I still need to do a Bush Fix. Haven't used truck in a week. The 1/2" 30R9 fuel line seems to be out of stock at many places that I have checked. I want something that is bio diesel rated. I may just buy that Viton...

Yeah, thats what I run. But there is stuff that is stiffer. A couple shops in Vegas carry sae30r10. But it is a pain to work with.

Long, slow build of my truck

30r9- atta boy! 8 times this year I know of people using cheaper stuff, saving $6-7. They will be buying new line again in 3 years or less.

Long, slow build of my truck

...of the engine. When I did my fuel system upgrades I ran new hose from the hard line on the engine all the way to the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank. This is the hose I used. The "30R9" is the important spec that I looked for. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EMDS6C/?tag=jhuntlink-20

Injector Return Hoses: Looking for the Best.

It has to be rated sae 30r9. Stanadyne's is not last I checked. Mercedes Benz is. They held the patent on making it for the first 7 years it existed, their engineers created it. That's why MB was the only 100% biofuel and methal or ethyl mixed diesel fuel rated car for the first decade. As...

Diagnosing Air Leaks in the Fuel Line

...too long since I've looked on a pickup at the rubber lines at the fuel tank (not really I hate changing those) but iirc it is 3/8 line back there- that's why everyone changes the 5/16 line from the FFM to the IP up to 3/8 because that's what it is in the back. Sae 30r9 iirc is the rating you...

Getting old burb back on the road. Looking for advise

...its the rating were after. According to http://www.veyance.com/ProductsDetail.aspx?id=6082 Application: Specially designed low-pressure hose for gas and gas/ethanol blends in carbureted vehicle applications. Resists gas, oil and diesel fuel. (Not recommended for use with biodiesel – see 30R9.)

Lift pump not working and truck keeps stalling

Sucky time. If you can't find the leak sucking in air, you are going to have to check each connection. If you have not replaced all the rubber lines in the truck yet, doing so will guarantee all those connections are good and the hoses aren't seeping. Any hose you replace btw use sae 30r9 hose.

    Replacing fuel lines....

...as your replacing it, I would bump it up to 1/2" tubing. Use carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum for any tubing of solid line and sae 30r9 for the "rubber" line keeping everything rated for the newer fuels. You might not be using much of that fuel now, but in 7-8 years that's about...

Random hard starts and air in return line????

...rail before & after the LP. Leaking Fuel Return Line

One of my local Autozones had the 30R9 stuff for $4/ft. I got that. Thanks for all the help, guys! It's all done. I got a double flare kit from Harbor Freight. Junk. Didn't hold the line tight enough and then the "HD" wingnut stripped under just finger pressure. So, no flare in the pipe...

Need new fuel line from the manager to the drain petcock

Can not find a rating. Here is a link to it http://www.safehose.com/ParkerProducts.asp?catID=35 I can sell by the foot, but shipping could play a roll and I would suggest getting atleast 10ft at a time.

Need new fuel line from the manager to the drain petcock

Is this hose rated 30R9? Sounds like a fair price If your selling in foot increments. The lowest cost 30R9 I found was had for $23 for a 25 foot roll from EP Cleveland Inc, 7621 Hub Parkway, Valley View, Ohio 44125. Thanks Greg. I missed that thread.
