I'll start I have a Warn 9500i that is being rebuilt...I am looking into gettin another 9500....the earlier 9500i(like mine) is notorious for not being very water resistant..therefore the brushes get corroded very quickly. BTW..it is on a cradle and is inserted into my 10,000 lb reese receiver...

Well....your .02 cents is always welcome here...having the right tools is indeed the foundation to doing things properly and safely...and you're absolutely right...education is key..gotta love those flatbeds with wheel lifts..you can bring your 4x4 to recover ..then tow it back AND the other one...

70s a nice round number...I use cruise control only when i want to see if it works...(and to think they charge 600 bucks for that)...my right foot is my cruise control

When YOU are actively involved in a recovery it is your responsibility to take every safety precaution....and everyone else needs to keep their safety in mind also...

that sounds like a cool road trip...6500 miles sheww....just came back from the Grand Canyon for the second time...words..let alone pictures can't describe it...been to Yellowstone many years ago......that is also beautiful...I'd love to go back....Have fun and be safe:seeya:

The one I referenced was two wheel drive(very big mistake)..kid with daddy's (street) tow rig....as far as not trying hard enough...times are tough these days to have broken parts...so there can be some slack on that one):h Good tips everyone..

I DO recognize that....looks like MSR Hawaii....lost all the water can and fuel cans on that one...nearly got a concussion and stuck(if It wasn't for hittin it at 60 mph)...CO got pissed when we told them we couldn't find the cans:incazzato:
