Need 4” exhaust from muffler back

Nope. Both are galvanized. I have never seen stainless. Current pipe went 15 years and only the section from the muffler back show rot and that is the part right behind the tire, on the back side.

Need 4” exhaust from muffler back

    Leroy’s price is $737.99; Quadstar’s is $409.97.

    Chinese 6.5 block

I might have a usable 1999 block, though not a Navistar. I lost the engine at idle speed when I lost a braided stainless oil cooler line. Engine seized but never overheated. I have it in a crate in the garage at our Montana home, but have yet to tear it down for inspection. I know that shipping...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

90% of the time, the Suburban is being used as a two row SUV. When you need it, it’s a truck. A truck is always a truck, but the usage as a truck would be the same.

It is very functional, which is why I love them. A truck with second row seating, but a 6.5’ bed is just not as good. 8’ bed makes that truck unwieldy.

Replaced rear sway bar bushings on the 2014 4Runner before it leaves for Montana tomorrow. That truck is running nice and tight and the mileage returned to normal after replacing the MAF sensor. Doing some planning and I will head up to Montana 3/20 and 3/21 for 3 weeks. Will be hauling my...

Welcome from Stevensville, Montana and Fullerton, California. We’re not too far away when I’m at the Montana home.

    1999 Chevy 6.5L C3500 TD Steering Issues

If the steering box is original, I would replace. I would also replace the steering shaft with one that has a spider joint or u-joint vs the rag joint. All other components of the steering need to be in go shape.

I went to retrieve them to measure distance. It was when I went to measure the newly installed shocks that I discovered the installer problem.

So I’m exhausted from that suspension work. I treated myself to a new 1/2” torque wrench after the dial came off the handle on the existing. Got a Scion 90 tooth from Harbor Freight and used their 15% off one item for President’s Day sale. When I was tightening the top nut on one shock, I was...

They’re fine. Wife got it aligned after her follow-up with retina surgeon (eye tested 20/40 and should continue to improve). I drove it and the ride is very nice. No more looseness sound going over speed bumps.

Got it corrected. Took me two hours. Now it just needs an alignment.

This is now installer error. I woke up thinking about this. Checked a different store and they sell the same shock for the 4Runner. I then went out and retrieved the old shocks from the trash before they got hauled away in the am. Checked the coil spring platform and compared it to the one on...

So I’m pretty sure that Shock Surplus provided me the incorrect front shocks for the 2014 4Runner. You can see the difference in ride height: Before: After:

Upper control arms installed. Had to cut the ball joint off on the passenger side, as the castle nut stripped on me.

Lowers and front coil over shocks installed. Had to cut the passenger side rear cam bolt. Guys in the rust belt typically have to cut all 4.
