gm went el cheapo when it came to wiring. most of it is undersized. what gauge did you put in for a new cable? the inhibit switch is down beside the injector.

the large wire(IIRC it's pink) should have 12V key on. the inhibit switch is on the passenger side head right at the back. I know the orange wire goes to the dash light. does the controller make any noises? have you confirmed 12V at the studs? I'll see what I can dig up for ya.

sounds like my ride when it's empty. back the tires pressure down to 50-60 psi and the ride will improve alot. mine only calls for 40psi in the rear with 3 guys and 500lbs cargo.

when you put the top cover on, did you put it straight down or slide it into place? is there fuel coming out of the return line on the pump? a short piece of hose and a container to check OLDBLACKSMOKER is right about needing a good set of batteries for cranking.

The truck has one from TSC(no idea who makes them) still surviving after 8 years of hard use. The van(wife's) has a Canadian tire brand one. can't complain at the CT one, it's got a 10yr warranty free replacement.

for me, there's an independant(no brand name) that I go to 80% of the time. it's one of the few who actually post the price. the price doesn't jump around and you still get full service.:thumbsup:

I was reading over the thread and notices your missing one wire. it takes 4 wires total to make it all work. or 3 wires+frame(mounting) ground. reverse, brake/turn, marker and ground. the old license plate light, did it happen to be a one wire and ground by the mounting bolts?
