Need .001 accuracy for true thickness although that doesn't necessarily tell any sort of story. .1046" is 12 ga for example.

This should have said "stock sock" but I think everyone picked up on my error. I'm trying to see a need for 1/2" pickup tube aside from cost benefit. I've sent an email asking why the high performance version is so much less expensive than the stock style.

Those teeth appear peened so it makes me wonder if they are either soft or if the tooth spacing in inconsistent, possibly causing the dog bone to fatigue.

Has the cause been determined? My set was purchased around the same timeframe for my engine, so I guess it will sit until this is resolved.
