Last grey box Stanadyne PD I got was from Huckstorf Diesel.
I had good service from two of the grey box units but the last one I orderd burned out before much time had passes.
I contacted Huckstorf and he told me to take it up with Stanadyne, IDR if I pursued it but it seems that Stanadyne didnt...
The resistor is for specific IP calibrations.
9 feeds more fuel and smaller numbers is less fuel.
Stay with whatever number is stamped on Your current resistor.
It is recommended by many members in here to run with a NO.5.
I have three spare PMDs each on their own extended harness behind the...
Not the manifold, just the ring of bolts around the turbo and the V-band clamp, along with the oil feed and drain back right at the turbo.
If that would aid in getting that one GP removed.
IDK about the turbo flange studs, if they are stainless, the nuts most likely will remove quite nicely...
Welcome to the forum 123.
I do not understand one thing about such a conversion as this.
Seems with a wiring diagram, a set of gauges hooked to the AC system that it should not be that difficult to get wired up.
Probably follow how the original AC system was wired to the original AC units.
Trying to decide what oil to put in that old dozer. It’s a 1953 IH TD-14. Engine totally starts on gasoline then after several minutes of warm up lift the lever and converts it to diesel.
Book is all about straight weight with 40 being for above 80*F and 10 weight below 20 or some such.
I’d like...
I eliminated the sock. But I’m also running the air dog lift pump with its filtration system.
Before replacing these systems the PO had eliminated the tank sock and had installed a 3/8ths” inline steel shell fuel filter.
I purchased/replaced the entire unit.
I have the fuel tank SU from Leroy Diesel.
It is far more accurate than the original stock unit and the gauge doesnt bounce around near so much.
The stock unit if the gauge got near the reddish colored low fuel marks I better be setting at a fuel pump or I most likely will not get to drive the...
Are most all wimmen like that ? ? ? ?
I have charge accounts at both parts stores, Usually about a hundred a month at one or the other of the two.
Then she starts in about the dozer, told her yeah, going to start stacking in supplies for that so it will get a total service job and the engine...
I wonder if it would be a cool addition to incorporate an AN adapter fitting that has the 1/8” female NPT and install a temperature gauge into the outlet side of the oil cooler.
Could do a pre and post sending units then toggle switch them to one gauge.
I’m sure liking the fuel pressure system...
2005 GMC envoy would not come out of park. The owner plugged in his code reader and it was like magic and started functioning as it should.
I told him it is a bad ground.
He took it to a shop, the pulled some center console cover and found the bad ground connection.
Also, while those insulators are pried away from the cable terminals, if there is any of that plastic smashed onto the terminals, carve that crap away.
Disconnect all the battery cables from the batteries.
Remove the slug from between the two cables connected to the RH battery.
Pry the cable terminal insulators away from the terminals.
Scrub on those terminals and that slug until they are bright and shiny.
Remove all the ground cables from the...
