    Turbo Blanket opinions.

Wrapped the back of the turbo section, down pipe looks like a Saturday morning project. Any better ideas besides those worthless stainless straps? Ended up just using wire to secure the wrap. Now to get a turbo blanket!

    Turbo Blanket opinions.

Good info! I think I am going to use the heat wrap. How hard was it to wrap still on the truck? Most info I have found says they have gotta good results with the wrap. I also think the a/c will work better with out all the heat radiating on the evap. canister.

    Turbo Blanket opinions.

Found a few on ebay for around 60-75 bucks list for a t-4 size turbo. Thats why I am debating putting one on because of air intake location and a/c evaporator to see if it helps with underhood temps. Good info on the heat wrap I am going to wrap the down pipe as well.

Thats what I was trying to confirm that the connector and mounting is the same. Found this one at autozone DL1926-16-4 for a 02 dmax listed at...

Another exciting day owning a 6.5!

I have been looking and found that the 140amp has a different plug connector that is square , mine is a more oval shape. I found a square connector at a parts store with 4 wires . But before I go cutting do you mean that the d-max alt. has the same oval plug in as well?

My 6.5 ran perfect Sunday morning! not the dog like usual. But I don't know why?

Just a thought..... maybe the sock in the tank was clogged and the stuff broke loose? Did you use any additives? 210 hot or NOT?

Don't know how the rest of my text didn't make it but with that said I also think d-max fan and cluch is one of the best mods if not the best mod I have added to the burban simple to do and you can by the whole thing or the parts. All I had to do was trim the inner lip that is on the top shroud...

    Do it yourself rock guard!

Did this project couple of weeks ago and wanted to share if anyone is interested in DIY rock guard. I put Herculiner on the bottom door panels and painted it for around 65.00 compared to 600.00 at line x. I think prep is key and sanding enough to get a good working surface. I used 2 coats of...

How many 6.5 Suburban owners get asked if it is for sale?

Seem the gas station is a popular place to get asked if I am selling it. I even had a few let me know I was putting diesel in it! I might sell it one day if the price is right!
